How do I buy a beat?
Press the price button on any beat, choose a license, add it to your cart and check out. You receive the files and a license agreement by email.
What does “type beat” mean?
It describes the style of a beat (for example “Playboy Carti type beat”). It does not mean the artist was involved — TECHNOLOGY BEATS has no affiliation with the artists referenced.
Can I upload my song to Spotify and Apple Music?
Yes. Every license allows distribution to streaming platforms within its stream cap. See Licensing Info for the limits.
How do I credit the producer?
Put “prod. by Technology” in the title or credits of your song and video description.
Will my song get a Content ID claim?
Our beats are not registered in Content ID on their own. If a claim ever appears, send us the link via the contact form and we clear it.
Can I upgrade my license later?
Yes. You pay only the difference between your current and new license within 12 months. See the refund policy.
What happens if someone buys exclusive rights to a beat I leased?
Your existing lease stays valid for its full term; the beat is simply removed from the store for new buyers.
Are the previews on this site the actual beats?
The in-browser player plays a synthesized sketch of each beat's tempo and groove so pages load fast and nothing is streamed from third parties. Full tagged previews are on our BeatStars store.
Can I use a leased beat on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube?
Yes. Every lease allows distribution and monetisation on all streaming platforms and YouTube up to the stream cap of your tier.
What counts as a “stream”?
Any single play on an audio platform (Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, etc.). YouTube music-video views count towards the video allowance, not streams.
What happens when I hit my cap?
Upgrade to a higher tier by paying the difference. You don't need to take your song down.

How do I get my free drum kit?
Add the Starter Drum Kit on the Loop Kits page to your cart and complete the free checkout; the download link is sent by email.
